Last week, OniGroup joined postal leaders from across Asia Pacific at the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) Conference in Bangkok as a Gold Sponsor, alongside Google Maps Platform. It was a great opportunity to hear where organisations are on their digital transformation journeys—some rolling out major initiatives, others just beginning. Across the conference, a few themes surfaced repeatedly:
The increasing importance of accurate location and address data.
Why consistent, predictable delivery is becoming as important as speed.
The need for hyper-local solutions tailored to each country’s landscape and regulations.
On stage, Prash Ranjan presented together with Anjusha Sandeep from Google Maps Platform, diving into delivery repeatability and showing how better data and stronger operational visibility can help postal & delivery organisations build reliability and customer trust at scale.
Having our booth at APPU helped spark plenty of meaningful conversations with postal teams from across the region. It became clear that many organisations are looking for practical ways to address challenges such as inaccurate addresses, failed deliveries, routing complexity, and operational inconsistency. The momentum across APAC is shifting from “testing ideas” to scaling solutions that genuinely improve performance.

If you'd like to continue the conversation around how to maximise delivery repeatability, strengthen address quality, or apply location intelligence within your delivery and postal operations, feel free to get in touch.
We’re always happy to share what we’re learning across the region.
